Questo poster è un’icona della grafica pubblicitaria francese del dopoguerra, progettato per promuovere l’acquisto dei bons PTT (titoli di stato emessi dalle Poste, Télégraphes et Téléphones francesi).

Con uno stile brillante, immediato e giocoso, Savignac trasforma un telefono in una vivace figura stilizzata di gallo, simbolo nazionale francese, attraverso un geniale uso di forme semplici e colori saturi: il nero dell’apparecchio si fonde con il rosso, bianco e blu della bandiera francese, evocando orgoglio nazionale e modernità.
