Eleonore Floret

The ORIFORI textile is a versatile, foldable design that lets you create multiple shapes. This flexible piece celebrates the Japanese art of folding, transforming a single sheet of printed felt into an object that can wrap and define the space around it.

As a lampshade, simply slip it over your own hanging light bulb and tie the top string to adjust the size.
As a vase cover, fold it into a shape you like and place a bottle inside to hold fresh flowers.


Condition: New – handmade designer piece, never used.

Main body - polyester felt with puff print
String - polyester and leather

Origin: Designed and handmade in the Netherlands by Maori Kimura

Before folding (flat textile size) - approx. W 80 × H 27
After folding into shape - diameter approx. 15–27 / height approx. 22–25

Colours:
Front - blue, light green and dark green puff print
Back -  plain white felt
