Belutsch Antik Afghan Teppich – Handgewebte Kunst mit Seele

Afghanische Belutsch-Teppiche (auch Balutsch oder Baluch-Teppiche genannt) sind handgeknüpfte Teppiche, die traditionell von Belutsch-Nomaden und Halbnomaden in Westafghanistan, Ostiran und Teilen Pakistans gefertigt werden. Diese Teppiche zählen zu den charakteristischsten und zugleich unterschätzten Stücken orientalischer Knüpfkunst.

Herkunft und Kultur
Die Belutsch gehören zu einer ethnischen Gruppe, die hauptsächlich in der Grenzregion zwischen Afghanistan, und Pakistan lebt. Ihre Teppichkunst ist eng mit ihrem Nomadenleben verknüpft – die Teppiche dienen nicht nur als Bodenbelag, sondern auch als Schlafunterlage, Satteldecken oder Zeltverkleidung.
