Ce whisky, créé par le maître distillateur Steven Bremner, est le fruit d'une collaboration avec cinq experts du café de renommée mondiale. Cette édition explore l'harmonie entre le monde du whisky et celui du café, en s'inspirant spécifiquement de l'Arabica d'Éthiopie, berceau du grain.

Le distillat a été mûri dans une sélection méticuleuse de fûts de chêne européen et américain ayant contenu du sherry. Ce choix vise à extraire des notes riches, profondes et intenses de café torréfié, de chocolat noir et d'épices douces, offrant une expérience sensorielle qui rappelle un expresso italien corsé.

Saveurs et Profil
Nez : Tiramisu, pain d'épices, raisins secs et une note gourmande de cappuccino.

Palais : Expresso intense, chocolat noir, mûres sauvages et une touche de vanille douce.

Finale : Longue, équilibrée et chaleureuse, marquée par des notes de café torréfié qui persistent avec élégance.

Composition
Ce whisky repose sur une alliance de fûts de chêne assaisonnés au sherry, spécifiquement sélectionnés pour leur capacité à développer des arômes toastés. L'interaction entre le bois de xérès et le distillat de The Macallan crée ici une texture crémeuse et une profondeur aromatique qui rend hommage à la culture du café.
