The N4450 is the first 26 cm deck that Philips developed for the consumer market. Not only was a 26 cm reels deck developed that has great qualities, this machine is also completely Autoreverse, both for recording and display. Furthermore, a timer is provided with which it is possible to start pre-recording and playback at a desired time. This device also has a wide choice of inputs, allowing it to act as a control centre for the Hifi chain. A Phono, Tuner and Aux input is available to connect sources directly. The device also has a (simple) built-in stereo power amplifier that can be directly connected to a set of speakers.
