Serbatoio benzina grandi dimensioni Hoske per BMW GS 80
Ernst Hoske è noto soprattutto per i suoi serbatoi aftermarket sovradimensionati da 8-10 galloni che adornavano le BMW.

I serbatoi realizzati a mano da Ernst Hoske sono oggi oggetti rari e da collezione.

Ernst Hoske nacque in Germania nel 1921. Fu un pilota di successo per la BMW e corse nella classe 500cc. In seguito, aprì una piccola officina privata e iniziò a produrre serbatoi aftermarket, selle, sistemi di scarico e varie attrezzature da corsa per motociclette BMW. L'officina di Hoske fu infine rilevata da Kurt Straubel nel 1969. In seguito, il genero di Hoske ereditò l'attività. Ernst morì nel 1976. Oggi l'officina si trova a Hameln-Hottenbergsfelda ed è un concessionario BMW chiamato Fuchs. Le riproduzioni dei suoi famosi tubi di scarico "Hoske Bags" vengono prodotte ancora oggi.
