Elegante sedia pieghevole orientale in legno massello finemente intagliato, impreziosita da decorazioni geometriche con intarsi in madreperla.

La struttura è composta da listelli curvi e incrociati che consentono la chiusura completa della sedia, una tipologia di seduta tradizionale diffusa nell’area del Medio Oriente e dell’Impero Ottomano tra la fine del XIX e l’inizio del XX secolo.

L’intera superficie del legno è riccamente lavorata con motivi floreali e arabeschi incisi a mano, mentre i piccoli inserti in madreperla creano eleganti motivi decorativi su schienale, seduta e struttura.

Lo schienale presenta un elemento ornamentale traforato con rosone centrale, che conferisce alla sedia un forte carattere decorativo e testimonia l’abilità artigianale della manifattura.

Oggetto allo stesso tempo funzionale e decorativo, ideale per collezionisti di antiquariato orientale o per ambienti d’arredo eclettici.
