BACCARAT – Porte-bougie modèle « Médaillon »

Cristal taillé – XIXᵉ siècle

Superbe porte-bougie en cristal de Baccarat, modèle dit « Médaillon », d’une grande élégance et d’une remarquable qualité d’exécution.
La pièce mesure 23 cm de hauteur pour 13 cm de diamètre, proportions harmonieuses caractéristiques des productions raffinées de la cristallerie au XIXᵉ siècle.

Réalisé en cristal taillé, ce porte-bougie se distingue par la pureté de sa matière, la précision de ses tailles et la belle présence de ses volumes. Le décor « Médaillon », sobre et équilibré, reflète le goût du XIXᵉ siècle pour une ornementation maîtrisée, mettant en valeur la lumière et la brillance du cristal sans excès.

Le porte-bougie est gravé “Baccarat” en lettres bâton, marquage ancien utilisé par la manufacture avant la généralisation des signatures modernes. Ce détail constitue un élément déterminant d’authenticité et permet de situer la pièce avec assurance au cours du XIXᵉ siècle.
