"The Two Best Seasons of Japan in One Bowl."

This is a stunningly beautiful Matcha tea bowl (Chawan) of Kutani-yaki (Kutani ware), crafted by the potter Bizan.
The title is "Yusai Shunju-mon" (Glazed Spring & Autumn Pattern).

The blue-green exterior and caramel interior are characteristic of Kutani ware.

[The Design: Unkin]
The exterior features a deep, vibrant turquoise-blue glaze decorated with elegant Cherry Blossoms (Spring) and Maple Leaves (Autumn) outlined in gold.
Combining these two seasons is a traditional Japanese motif known as "Unkin", representing the ultimate beauty of nature.
It allows the bowl to be used elegantly in both Spring and Autumn.

[The Interior Contrast]
A brilliant surprise awaits inside:
the interior is finished with a glossy, warm amber/caramel glaze.
This rich color is specifically chosen to make the bright green of the Matcha tea pop beautifully.

Comes with the original signed wooden box (Tomobako).
