Bottles are standard size (70 cl), with original labels intact, excellent liquid level, and impeccable condition – ideal for a display case or exclusive tasting.
Star Item 1: Mac-Talla Mara Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Cask Strength). From Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers (the Morrison family with generations on Islay), this cask strength expression reflects the wild coasts of the island: the raging sea and the unforgiving land. Undisclosed Islay single malt, matured in American oak barrels, bottled without chill filtration or added color.

• Profile: Bold, powerful, and smoky; nose of intense bonfire smoke with citrus zest, sea salt, and hints of salted lemon. Palate: Creamy and oily, with well-integrated peat, vanilla, almond, caraway, seaweed, bonfire smoke, and a medium-long finish with spice, oak, and warmth.

• ABV: 58.2%, natural color.

• Style: Maritime and peat-driven, with a fresh and non-aggressive balance despite its strength – ideal neat, with a few drops of water, or on the rocks. Awarded (Gold IWSC, Silver ISC, Gold Meininger’s) for its complexity and value. A coveted spirit for its Islay purity and family heritage. Star Piece 2: Peat’s Beast Intensely Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky. From Fox Fitzgerald (independent bottler), this undisclosed peated monster (possibly Speyside with a high peat content of ~35 ppm) is matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled without chill filtration. Released in 2011, it features striking beast-like packaging and a charred label.

• Profile: Fierce and bold; rampant smoke, ash, creosote, burnt lemon, petrol, and hints of fresh citrus fruit. Palate: Intense peat with thick tar, creamy licorice, campfire smoke, pepper, spices, salt, and juicy apple/banana sweetness. Long finish with oil, ash, and bitter smoke.

• ABV: 46% (or cask strength variants).

• Style: Young and raw, beastly peat without being as extreme as Supernova – perfect for peat lovers seeking a smoky punch with some juicy, floral sweetness. Versatile in neat or smoky cocktails, with good evolution in the glass.

This duo offers a contrasting peat experience: the elegant and powerful maritime style of Islay (Mara) versus the beastly raw and smoky style of undisclosed origin (Peat’s Beast). They represent independent innovation, uncompromising smoke, and growing value in the rare peated single malt market.
