Description

Elegant Art Deco table lamp dating from circa 1925–1935, featuring a figurative white porcelain sculpture depicting a stylised lady accompanied by a greyhound, an iconic symbol of Art Deco elegance and modernity.

The sculpture is hand-signed “B. Merli” at the base (see photo). It is mounted on an original turned wooden base, with a curved metal stem, and completed by a fringed lampshade, consistent with the period.

A refined decorative piece, characteristic of high-quality European Art Deco production, ideal for a classic or Art Deco interior.

Description

Élégante lampe de table Art Déco datant de la période circa 1925–1935, composée d’une sculpture figurative en porcelaine blanche représentant une jeune femme stylisée accompagnée d’un lévrier, animal emblématique de l’esthétique Art Déco, symbole d’élégance et de modernité.

La sculpture est signée à la main “B. Merli” à la base (voir photo). Elle est montée sur une base en bois tourné d’époque, avec une monture métallique courbe, et complétée par un abat-jour à franges, cohérent avec la période.

Belle pièce décorative de qualité, typique des productions européennes Art Déco, idéale pour un intérieur classique ou Art Déco.
