Iconische en in uitstekende staat verkerende vaas, een tijdloos ontwerp van Alvar Aalto uit 1937, gemaakt bij Iitala, Finland; een van de top ontwerpen van het Scandinavisch interieurdesign.

Mondgeblazen, handgesneden en gepolijst glas, met asymmetrische golven geïnspireerd op de vele Finse meren. Het ontwerp, dat bekend staat als de Aalto-vaas of Savoy-vaas, was oorspronkelijk het winnende ontwerp van een glasontwerpwedstrijd in 1936, georganiseerd door de Finse glasfabrieken Karhula en Iittala. De tentoonstelling in Parijs in 1937 gaf het iconische ontwerp internationale bekendheid

De 25 cm hoge transparante vaas is nagenoeg ongebruikt, heeft geen chips en slechts enkele
lichte gebruikskrasjes aan de onderzijde. De diameter is, door de vorm, verschillend, tot 16,5 cm. Aan de onderzijde voorzien van Iitala merkteken.

De vaas wordt goed verpakt en verzonden.
