Cenote Sac Actun Tequila is een ultra-premium 100% Agave Azul Tequilana Weber Tequila, geïnspireerd door de schoonheid van het schiereiland Yucatán en de spectaculaire ondergrondse watersystemen die uniek zijn voor deze geografische regio1. Deze Tequila heeft een complex smaakprofiel dat geurige gekookte agave in evenwicht brengt met delicate houttonen. Cenotes zijn natuurlijke zwemgaten, ontstaan door de ineenstorting van poreuze kalksteenbodems, die een geheime ondergrondse wereld van kristalhelder, zoet water hebben onthuld.

 

Cenote:
Cenote Tequila is een ultra-premium 100% Agave Azul Tequilana Weber Tequila, geïnspireerd door de schoonheid van het schiereiland Yucatán en de spectaculaire ondergrondse waterstelsels die uniek zijn voor deze geografische regio. De naam “Cenote” komt van het Maya-woord voor “heilige bron”. De Maya’s beschouwden cenotes als meer dan alleen waterputten; ze zagen ze als ‘vensters naar de onderwereld’, bewoond door goden en godinnen zoals Chaac, de god van de regenval. De tequila wordt gemaakt van 100% blauwe agave, die 6-7 jaar groeit voordat ze worden geoogst in de Lowland-regio. Het bijzondere kenmerk van Cenote is het zuivere water, afkomstig van een artesische bron bij de distilleerderij, gelegen aan de voet van de Tequila-vulkaan in Jalisco. De Master Distiller Arturo Fuentes hanteert een unieke, wereldwijde benadering van het rijpen van Cenote Tequila door Amerikaanse eikenhouten vaten te gebruiken, waardoor de smaak van agave tot zijn recht komt en de complexe smaken van de Yucatán-regio in balans worden gebracht. 

 

Proefnotities:
Kleur: De tequila heeft een heldere, lichtgouden kleur.
Aroma: Het aroma is complex en combineert geurige gekookte agave met subtiele houttonen. Je ruikt ook hints van citrus en vanille.
Smaak: De smaak is evenwichtig en rijk. Je proeft zoete agave, gecombineerd met tonen van eikenhout, karamel en een vleugje peper.
Afdronk: De afdronk is lang en warm, met een zachte kruidigheid en een vleugje zoetheid.
