Rare appareil photo Contax II des années 1930, équipé d'un objectif Zeiss Sonnar 50 mm f/2, tous deux en laiton chromé. Modèle d'avant-guerre, il possède une lentille blanche non traitée, d'une clarté exceptionnelle, exempte de moisissures et de rayures visibles. L'obturateur nécessite une réparation : le rideau reste ouvert lors de l'avancement du film.

La molette d'avancement du film est gravée « Made in Germany », attestant qu'il s'agit d'un Zeiss Contax II de fabrication allemande des années 1930, conçu spécifiquement pour l'armée chinoise durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et utilisé pour vaincre les Japonais en Mandchourie. Cet appareil photo a une grande valeur pour les collectionneurs. Son aspect est conforme à la photographie, avec seulement de légères traces d'utilisation. Il est fourni avec son étui en cuir d'origine, portant le numéro de série unique : 179712.
