Le vaudou est le fondement culturel des peuples Adja (dont les Fons, les Gouns,
les Ewe … et dans une certaine mesure les Yoruba…) peuples qui constituent un
élément important des populations au sud des États du Golfe du Bénin
(Bénin, Togo, Ghana, Nigéria…).
