Introduction

Offered here is an Aquanautic Princess Cuda, a distinctive Swiss-made chronograph featuring an iridescent mother-of-pearl dial, heart-shaped stone-set decoration and Aquanautic’s unmistakable architectural case design.

The silver-tone case, luminous shell dial and black rubber strap create a bold contrast. With a substantial case diameter of approximately 46.6 mm, this is a highly individual timepiece with a strong presence on the wrist.

Historical & Collector Value

Aquanautic became known during the 2000s for its unconventional Swiss watch designs, oversized cases, exposed bezel screws and elaborate crown-protection systems. The Princess Cuda combines the proportions of a sports chronograph with decorative, jewellery-inspired elements.

This example is particularly eye-catching due to its heart-shaped stone-set frame and natural mother-of-pearl dial. The iridescent surface changes subtly depending on the light and viewing angle, giving each mother-of-pearl dial its own individual appearance.

Its unusual combination of a large sports-watch case, chronograph display and decorative shell dial makes it an appealing choice for collectors seeking a less commonly encountered Swiss timepiece.
