This is a beautifully handcrafted Erik Nørding Freehand pipe, model #13, made in Denmark. Nørding is celebrated for his expressive, organically shaped pipes, and this piece is a fine representation of his distinctive style and craftsmanship.

The pipe features a softly curved silhouette with a rounded Apple shaped bowl. The shape is bold yet refined, with an upward-sweeping shank that transitions seamlessly into a black acrylic stem. 

The finish is a rich, deep reddish-brown, polished to a high gloss that brings out the beautiful flame grain of the briar. Subtle variations in the wood's natural pattern create depth and movement, enhancing the visual appeal. As is typical for Nørding Freehand pipes, the wood appears carefully selected, and the shaping follows the grain rather than conforming to factory-standard forms.

The mouthpiece is a standout feature of this pipe — a sculpted black acrylic stem with a striking integrated briar wood insert that matches the bowl’s rich, reddish-brown tone. The transition between wood and acrylic is seamlessly executed, creating a cohesive visual flow that reflects the craftsmanship of the entire piece.

Model #13 refers to one of Nørding’s medium-sized Freehand designs. While each pipe is slightly different due to the handmade nature of the series, the #13 models generally feature balanced proportions and a satisfying chamber size — suitable for both casual and extended smokes.




Condition:
This pipe is in **very good used condition** with only minimal signs of handling. It has clearly been well cared for and maintained. The interior of the bowl has no signs of burnout or damage.
