Francesco Bocola è un artista trasversale, che unisce esperienze e competenze in una figura di “inventore” dell'Arte, del Design, del Progetto del XXI secolo. Dopo gli studi all'Accademia di Brera, inizia ad esporre nelle gallerie italiane come pittore informale. debutta nella Piccola Galleria del Polesine, presentato da Lucio Fontana e recensito da Giuseppe Marchiori.L'incontro con Pierre Restany, nei primi anni Sessanta, determina una svolta concettuale che porta Bocola a sviluppare nuove ricerche; sarà questo viaggio che farà da scenario alla performance-evento di Restany La Segregation of Memory. La mostra riscuote molto successo e viene notata dallo stilista Pierre Cardin, che ne coglie le potenzialità commissionandogli un lavoro a Parigi per quattro anni per la ristrutturazione dell'Espace Cardin.Recentemente Bocola ha sviluppato la progettazione e il design dell'opera La Casa su Marte.
