Opel Bitter SC built in 1981, 81,843 km, 132 KW, automatic, original colour: Metallic Rosso Rubino, great condition Grade 2, restored from scratch, many new parts: Brake discs, ATE brake calipers overhauled, brake lines complete, brake pads, Bildstein shock absorbers, all oils, battery, tyres, spark plugs, exhaust system, rear lights and front turn signals, bonnet shock absorbers, window door and boot seals, drives well and quietly, H number plate, 2 years TÜV, 2 previous owners, the SC was produced from the beginning of 1981 and was available over the years in three body versions. Until the cessation of production in late autumn 1989, a total of only 488 copies of the Bitter SC series were produced. The Bitter SC promises considerable potential for value appreciation.
With the SC, Bitter created an elegantly designed vehicle with an Italian-looking body and unproblematic mass production technology.
The vehicle was delivered to the first owner in Mannheim in 1981. The second owner had the car painted blue. I purchased the vehicle in September 2010 and started with the full restoration and had the car painted again in the original colour.
In contrast to other SC models from this year, the structure was still relatively good. Some of the floor assembly had to be welded in new sheets, the door panels had to be replaced on the right door, left engine compartment fenders.
