Een ronde bronzen plaat met hoogreliëf gemengde metalen inlegwerk, kenmerkend voor de metaalbewerkingsovergang uit de Meiji-periode. De compositie maakt gebruik van verschillende legeringen—waarschijnlijk sentoku (geel messing), shakudo (koper-goud) en shibuichi (koper-zilver)—om een veelkleurige schilderachtige weergave te creëren van een figuur die bij het water zit bij een traditionele boot met dak. Fijne katakiri-bori gravure markeert de waterrimpelingen en boomschors, terwijl de reigers en kersenbloesems in reliëf zijn aangebracht om een dimensionaal effect te creëren.
