Silvia Possanza

Otto Möller (1883 - 1964 Berlin).

Original woodcut on Japanese paper. 1921.
Die Sanfte

Reverse with the wet stamp of the estate (hand-signed by Margarete Möller).

Edition G. A. Richter.
Edition of 60 numbered copies.

Woodcut size: 23 x 20 cm.

A key figure of second-generation Expressionism and modernism in Berlin, unlike his contemporary Otto Müller (with whom he is often confused), Möller developed a style that encompassed Impressionism, Cubo-Futurism, and New Objectivity.
