"Urban Alchemy" is a vibrant explosion of color and movement,  feels like walking through Barcelona’s streets bathed in Mediterranean light. 

Inspired by my recent exhibition and visit to Barcelona, "Urban Alchemy "channels the city’s unmistakable spirit — its energy, flowing architecture, and timeless charm. Each piece is built through layered textures of gesso,  sculptural modeling paste, acrylics, and oil pastels, creating a dynamic surface that reflects both motion and memory. From Gaudí’s organic forms to the Gothic Quarter’s intimate rhythm, these works invite the Mediterranean essence into any collection. Beyond their visual impact, they offer an exclusive opportunity to acquire original artworks infused with the life of one of the world’s most captivating cities.

"Urban Alchemy" situates itself within a contemporary lineage who translate urban environments into abstract visual languages. While echoing the gestural freedom of Abstract Expressionism, the work introduces a material depth reminiscent of Arte Povera’s tactile experimentation, merging  sculptural paste, gesso with vibrant acrylics and oil pastels. Barcelona becomes both subject and metaphor: a city of transformation where architectural innovation meets historical layers. Within the artist’s portfolio, this series marks an exploration of how place, memory, and materiality converge — transforming the urban landscape into an alchemical process of color, texture, and light.
