Se trata de un archivador del impresor W. Anton Abels en Utrecht. La marca del impresor aparece en los señalizadores de cada caja-cajón.
Precioso armario antiguo con 8 compartimentos de cartón. Todos ellos pueden abrirse con una solapa o extraerse por completo De este modo, es fácil transportar el contenido de cada uno de los compartimentos/cajas a su escritorio o reunión
Las cajas están hechas de cartón fuerte y estable, parcialmente cubiertas de tela y pintadas de color verde oscuro. Las solapas pueden cerrarse con pequeños broches de presión, todos ellos con la cabeza de un caballo en relieve y las palabras ''Breveté S.D.G.D.'' (Breveté S.G.D.G. es el nombre de una patente válida en Francia hasta 1968. La expresión significa ''Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement'' y significa traducido: ''Patente sin garantía del gobierno'')
Las cajas pueden ''bloquearse'' mediante una barra de cierre central a la derecha y a la izquierda, de modo que no es posible sacarlas ni abrirlas. El armario en sí es de roble y es bastante sencillo y funcional. Todas las cajas están firmadas por Benier & Co, una empresa holandesa que se dedicaba al diseño de interiores de oficinas
