This is a distinguished Nezumi-Shino (鼠志野) tea bowl for matcha, characterized by its refined monochromatic aesthetic. Nezumi-Shino represents one of the most sophisticated variations of Shino ware, traditionally produced in Mino region (Gifu Prefecture), Japan. The bowl showcases the distinctive contrast between the soft gray feldspar glaze and subtle cream-white accent areas, which is the hallmark of this style. The glaze exhibits the natural, matte finish typical of traditional kiln-fired ceramics, creating a sophisticated surface with excellent tactile qualities.
