Kev Munday crafts vibrant, utopian worlds and invites viewers to step inside and explore. Perhaps best known for his iconic crowd paintings, Munday captures a sea of unique individuals, each one distinct yet forming a powerful collective. Munday’s artistic journey began in the early 2000s as a teenage graffiti artist, leaving his mark on urban spaces through street art and stickers. A suggestion from a fellow artist led him to experiment with canvas, where he found a new home for his creativity. His street art roots remain integral to his practice today, with spray paint and marker lines infusing his work with raw energy. Whether adorning gallery walls or revitalising public spaces, his art remains accessible and engaging.

His work has been exhibited in prestigious institutions such as The Royal Academy of Arts, The Arnolfini and The Hayward Gallery, and he is frequently invited to paint live at international art fairs and events, including The Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam and London Fashion Week. With recent solo exhibitions across Europe and Asia, Munday’s reach continues to expand globally.

In 2019, he collaborated with IKEA to release a highly detailed coloring poster in his signature style, selling over 30,000 copies worldwide. His work extends beyond traditional art spaces, often studied in schools worldwide.
