Très vieux collier berbère – Sud Atlas marocain (vers 1890–1910)

Longueur : 79 cm

Superbe et imposant collier traditionnel ancien du Sud marocain, composé de grandes perles artisanales en résine végétale naturelle.
Cette résine provient de l’arbre Boswellia, un acacia utilisé à l’époque dans la fabrication des colliers berbères.
Les perles présentent une magnifique patine ancienne avec des nuances chaudes allant du jaune doré à l’ambre profond.

Le cylindre central, en bois noir très rare, est finement incrusté de fils de cuivre et d’argent martelés directement dans le bois.
Une des pièces pendantes porte une date gravée correspondant à 1188 du calendrier hégirien, soit 1775 de notre calendrier grégorien, témoignant de l’ancienneté et de la transmission de ce bijou au fil des générations.

Pièce d’exception, authentique, non restaurée, simplement nettoyée à l’eau pure pour préserver sa matière d’origine.
Présente quelques traces d’usure typiques de son âge, mais en très bon état général.

Ce collier raconte à lui seul une partie de l’histoire et des traditions du peuple berbère du désert.

Un objet de collection unique.
