Art Deco vaas – Hermanova Hut (Tsjechië)
Zeer elegante Art Deco vaas, vervaardigd door Hermanova Hut (Bohemen, Tsjechië), bekend om zijn kwalitatieve persglazen objecten uit het interbellum. De vaas heeft een opvallende geëxtrudeerde zeshoekige vorm, wat zorgt voor een strak maar sculpturaal silhouet.
De vaas is uitgevoerd in een diepgroene glaskleur en rijkelijk gedecoreerd met een reliëf dat de nerven van een bananenblad voorstelt, een typisch Art Deco-motief geïnspireerd op exotische en botanische vormen. Het spel van licht en schaduw in het reliëf benadrukt de geometrie en verfijning van het ontwerp.
