Der Name Glashütter Tradition mit seiner weitreichenden Geschichte wurde 1998 von D. Dornblüth mit der Eintragung „Glashütter Tradition Dornblüth“ in das deutsche Markenamt wiederbelebt. Im Jahr 2009 wurde die Marke Glashütter Tradition durch eine Übernahme erneut gestärkt, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der Einzel- und Kleinserienfertigung lag. Dieser Ansatz unterstrich das Engagement der Marke für Exklusivität und handwerkliche Qualität. Trotz des Renommees und der Anerkennung, die Glashütter Tradition für ihre hochwertigen Uhren erhielt, wurde die Produktion zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt eingestellt. Die Einstellung der Uhrenfertigung markiert das Ende eines bedeutenden Kapitels in der Geschichte der Marke, deren Einfluss auf die Uhrmacherkunst und deren Traditionen jedoch weiterhin Bestand haben.
