A sophisticated and highly functional piece of German Mid-Century Modern design by the renowned manufacturer Opal Kleinmöbel. This mobile storage box, often used as a sewing table or a gentleman’s valet, is a perfect example of 1960s craftsmanship and minimalist aesthetics.

Materials & Craftsmanship:
Unlike many veneer-only versions, this specific model is crafted from high-quality solid teak. The wood features a rich, warm honey-colored grain with a beautiful natural texture. The structure is supported by sleek, black square-profile metal legs, characteristic of the industrial-modern fusion of the era.

Functional Design:

Sliding Top: The dual-panel top glides outwards smoothly to reveal a spacious main compartment.

Internal Organizer: Inside, there is a built-in wooden divider with four sections, perfect for organizing small items, jewelry, or craft supplies.

Mobility: Equipped with its original 360° swivel brass casters, allowing the piece to be moved effortlessly. It can serve as a bedside table, a sofa companion, or a mobile bar.

Provenance & Authenticity:
The piece retains its original manufacturer's paper label on the underside: "OPAL Kleinmöbel — Teak", confirming its heritage and collectible status.

Condition Report
