Très rare gobelet romain en verre.
Gobelet en verre à fond plat soufflé moulé, de forme hexagonale, à col rond et fin, à bord évasé.
Réalisé en verre incolore, Il présente une ravissante irisation aux reflets argentés. 
Le verre romain, perfectionnant les techniques hellénistiques avec l'avènement du soufflage au Ier siècle, popularisa le matériau et permit la fabrication de vases d'une beauté éthérée, dont les formes élaborées captent magnifiquement la lumière.
Parois fines en verre blanc légèrement verdâtre, corps hexagonal présentant de nombreuses irisations en surface.
Période romaine, 4ème siècle après J.-C. 
Jolie irisation - excellent état - petite ébréchure au col, petite fissure sans incidence
Hauteur 7,4 x largeur 5,3 cm
