Roger Hall (26 December 1914 – after 2005) was a British artist who began his career painting publicity images for front of house displays in cinemas but later became a noted book illustrator and created the first depiction of James Bond on a book cover.

Two original watercolour illustrations by the well known, Roger Hall. The piece was used in the UK publication Hey Diddle Diddle in the 1970s.

The quality is exceptional. Unsigned, but with the artists details to verso.

In very good condition, margins a little soiled and bumped to corners. Corners frayed and turned. Previous glue marking from a removal of blank box with the other image having the box pasted down. The smaller piece has a slight crease to the middle left. Ink annotation to margins. Please see images for further description.
