This is a good luck Takachiho Kagura mask 高千穂神楽面 meticulously. 
It is a very impactful Kagura mask made of pottery. 
The name of the mask is "Good Luck Mask 開運の面," symbolizing the god of good fortune. 
The condition is generally good. There are some scratches, scuffs, discoloration, chips, and other damage in places.
The fur will also fall out.

The Kagura mask (Kaguramen) is a mask used in Kagura, a traditional Japanese performing art. Kagura is a dance performed as part of Shinto rituals and festivals, expressing gratitude and prayers to the gods. Kagura masks are used by performers to portray specific gods, spirits, demons, animals, and other roles, characterized by their unique style and expressive power.

Representative masks include Tengu (long-nosed goblins), Oni (demons), Okina (old men), Hime (princesses), and Shishi (lions). These masks hold sacred significance and serve to bridge the world of gods and humans. The condition is generally good. There is a small peeling on the left ear. There are signs of it having been framed on the back. It appears that it was framed and then removed. There is also dirt, scratches, dullness, and wear and tear due to age. It was stored at home. There are also many photos, so please take a look.
