Descrizione:

La placca circolare in bronzo è incisa con motivi astrologici e tutti i segni zodiacali, formando una vera e propria mappa del cielo. Gli indicatori in ottone dorato rappresentano pianeti e frecce mobili che guidano la lettura astrologica.

Il piedistallo in legno, riccamente scolpito a mano con motivi floreali e dettagli raffinati, rende l’insieme maestoso e unico.

An extraordinary and rare piece: an impressive astrolabe purchased in 1970 in Mumbai (India), representing the ancient knowledge that combines astronomy, astrology, and decorative art.

Description:

The large circular bronze plate is finely engraved with astrological motifs and all zodiac signs, creating a celestial map. The gilded brass hands and planetary symbols allow the reading of stars and planets.
