Pluto and Donald Duck Production Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939)

This fantastic original production drawing captures a hilarious moment from Beach Picnic (1939), a classic Donald Duck and Pluto short directed by Clyde Geronimi. In this summertime misadventure, Donald's beach day takes a turn for the worse when he becomes hopelessly entangled in sticky fly paper. By the film's conclusion, Donald is tightly wrapped up like a bundle, with only his face left uncovered-just in time for Pluto to shower him with affectionate licks!
This fun production drawing, illustrated in graphite and color pencil on 12-field, 5-peghole animation paper, comes from the short's finale, appearing around the 7:50 mark. Written by Disney Legend Carl Barks and Jack Hannah, with animation by Preston Blair and Norman Ferguson, Beach Picnic is filled with comedic timing and classic Disney charm.

The drawing is numbered and remain in vintage Good condition, with minor handling and edge wear from production use, faint creasing, and minor discoloration-a delightful collectible from Donald and Pluto's golden-era antics!
