Wrapped Reichstag, Berlín, 1995.

Rare brochure from an exhibition at the Kunsthaus Wien, prior to the Berlin installation (1995). 8 pages.
Signed in black marker by Christo Javacheff in 2018.

Magnificent 3D montage with a background offset sheet of a preparatory drawing of the project. 
The brochure is framed inside with a blue cardboard mat (adhesive-free and easily removable).

The montage includes a segment of original ROPE (19 cm.) and FABRIC (12 cm.) USED in the installation between June and July 1995.

Box framing. Size: 32,5 x 32,5 x 4,5 cm. Perfect condition.

On the back, it includes copies of proofs of contact with the artist. Many of our autographs come from visits to its installations, from the exhibitions held in Barcelona (2000) and Madrid (2006), in Sulzano and Brescia (2016) and in the exhibition at the Gallerie Serpentine in London (2018) on the occasion of what was his penultimate major installation (the London Mastaba). Although the vast majority come from the generous (re)shipment from his address on Howard Street in New York.

About "Wrapped Reichstag, Berlín, 1995": the most emblematic installation from the social and political point of view of those made by Christo and Jeanne Claude. A complete declaration of intentions about German reunification in collaboration with the purest and most genuine art.
