A magnificent mid-century Swedish salt cellar, beautifully shaped like a swan. 
The top part is made of 835 silver with detailed openwork wings that can open and close, while the body is made of hand-cut crystal. 
Together, they create a wonderful combination of fine silver work and sparkling glasswork.

The piece is stamped with the Swedish three crowns and "S" for silver, alongside the 835 silver purity mark and a worn maker’s mark. The crystal shows some tiny micro chips, either from the original cutting or developed later, but they are minimal, smooth to the touch, and not distracting.

This collectible salt cellar dates to around the 1950s and stands out for its fantastic design. 

A beautiful, exclusive piece for any collection of Scandinavian silver or to uplift any table setting.
