L’Amarone Classico di Bertani racchiude in sé il fascino del tempo trascorso ed è in grado di raccontare la storia di un intero territorio, la Valpolicella, da sempre perla enologica in Italia e nel Mondo. Un’espressione di tradizione recente, ma nel contempo diventata simbolo di questo affascinante angolo d’Italia, un vino che ha richiesto decenni di perfezionamenti e di scoperte per arrivare al profilo qualitativo che oggi può offrire. Si tratta di una delle interpretazioni più apprezzate e più famose di tutta l’intera denominazione e tra le più grandi espressioni di tutto il panorama enologico mondiale. Eleganza, morbidezza e avvolgenza sono portate ad un livello altissimo per garantire un sorso indelebile e indimenticabile che tocca le corde più profonde dell’anima. Mito, leggenda e fuoriclasse dal talento cristallino!

Bertani Amarone è ottenuto da un lavoro molto attento e studiato nel dettaglio, frutto di una lunga tradizione tramandata di generazione in generazione. Il tutto parte in vigna, con un’attenta selezione di grappoli proveniente dai vigneti di Tenuta Novare ad Arbizzano di Negrar che poggiano su terreni di natura marno-calcarea con il classico sistema di allevamento a Guyot. Le uve, Corvina e Rondinella, vengono lasciate appassire a lungo, per circa 120 giorni, in modo del tutto naturale nei fruttai della tenuta. Vengono poi fatte fermentare, in pieno inverno, con estrema lentezza, garantendo poi una maturazione lunga che lo porta a raggiungere un equilibrio tale da garantirgli una longevità davvero sorprendente, anche di diversi decenni! Segue poi una lenta fermentazione in cemento che si protrae per 50 giorni, di cui 20 giorni di macerazione sulle bucce, e un affinamento per circa sei anni in botti di rovere di Slavonia, con una successiva stabilizzazione in bottiglia per ulteriori 12 mesi.

L’Amarone Classico Bertani racconta una storia fatta di passione, tradizione e amore per la propria terra. Scende nel calice con un color rosso granato cupo e poco trasparente con sfumature aranciate. Il bouquet è intenso e complesso dove le tipiche note di prugna, ciliegia e marasca si alternano a frutta secca, liquirizia e spezie. Una nuvola balsamica chiude un olfatto decisamente ampio e ricco. In bocca è morbido e seducente, caldo e possente, pieno e persistente, dotato di un tannino dolce e di una freschezza balsamica che gli permettono di conservarsi ancora a lungo e di esprimersi al meglio dopo qualche anno di maturazione in bottiglia.
