HISTORIE/DOCUMENTATIE:

Stelt u zich eens voor: een Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce 'Duetto', één van de meest iconische Alfa Romeo's ooit gebouwd, uitgevoerd met de meest krachtige en geliefde 1750 motor, een schitterende opvallende kleur 'Pino Verde', origineel Nederlands geleverd en recent zorgvuldig gereviseerd voor een bedrag van ruim € 8.000. 

Wij zijn ervan overtuigd dat u hier geen tweede van zult vinden. Op 2 april 1969 is deze "Duetto" nieuw geleverd in Nederland. Hiermee is het één van 1.114 Europees geleverde exemplaren, waarvan uiteraard slechts een gering aantal in Nederland. 

In 1980 kwam de auto in bezit van een Alfa Romeo specialist, die de auto bijna 30 jaar zorgvuldig heeft onderhouden tot 2009. Ook de derde en laatste eigenaar sinds 2009 heeft dit zorgvuldige onderhoud en eigendom voortgezet. Deze eigenaar is een liefhebber pur sang met meerdere Alfa Romeo's in zijn bezit. De onderhoudsfacturen zijn bewaard gebleven bij de auto. 

EXTERIEUR:

Het lakwerk is opnieuw gespoten in 1980 en sindsdien goed bewaard gebleven en slechts enkele gebruikerssporen. De Cromodora stervelgen zijn vervaardigd uit ultralicht magnesium en bevinden zich nog in nette staat. De carrosserie heeft goede passingen van naden en is roest- en schadevrij. Ook de rubbers zijn gaaf en de verlichting is fris. De ronde koplampen zijn voorzien van gestroomlijnde voorzetglazen. De cabrioletkap is zeer gaaf, vrij van scheuren en is naar behoren te openen en te sluiten. 

Al met al een algemene nette staat, zeker gezien de leeftijd van de auto. 

INTERIEUR:

Ook het fraaie zwarte interieur is een waar kunstwerk en verkeert in zeer nette staat. Het interieur beschikt over fraaie tellers en een dashboard dat is gespoten in de carrosseriekleur. De stoelen en deuren zijn bekleed met zwart skai-leer. De stoelen zijn origineel Europees uitgevoerd zonder hoofdsteunen, in tegenstelling tot Amerikaanse modellen. De auto laat zich besturen door het fraaie houten 3-spaaks Hellebore stuurwiel. 

Het interieur is vrij van beschadigingen en verkeert in algehele nette staat. Alle tellers zijn werkend. De authentieke radio/cassettespeler is nog aanwezig en het interieur beschikt over verwarming. De kofferruimte is verrassend ruim en verkeert eveneens in een nette staat. Keurig afgedekt onder de koffermat bevindt zich het reservewiel. 

TECHNISCH:

Uitvoerige (onderhouds)documentatie is bij de auto aanwezig. Hij is zorgvuldig en met passie onderhouden, veelal door Alfa Romeo specialisten. In 2008 zijn het achterste gedeelte van de uitlaat vervangen, evenals alle 4 schokdempers. In 2013 zijn de 4 banden vervangen (Uniroyal 185/70/R14). 

Ook is de cardanas gereviseerd en zijn lagers en keerringen vervangen. In 2017 is het stuurhuis gereviseerd. Nog zeer recent (november 2023) is een grootschalige revisie uitgevoerd van de motor, bak en koppeling. Maar liefst 74 uur aan arbeid is er besteedt, met een totaalfactuur van ruim € 8.000.

Ook zijn in 2023 de voor- en het midden gedeelte van de uitlaat vernieuwd. De motorruimte ziet er verzorgd en droog uit. De 4-cilinder is 1779 cc groot, levert 118 pk en beschikt over dubbele Weber DCOE32 carburateurs. De handgeschakelde 5-versnellingsbak zorgt tezamen met achterwielaandrijving voor een ultieme rijervaring. De auto start, rijdt en schakelt goed.
