Description from the seller
BOSQUE INGRÁVIDO 59 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible into a single vision. In 'Bosque Ingrávido,' the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that binds them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the improbable: a forest that is not held by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is deliberate: like him, the artist invites viewers to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, obvious. The suspended trees challenge our understanding of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play—featuring electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows—enhances the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: what happens when we remove the weight from nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? 'Bosque Ingrávido' is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual act of liberation that challenges logic to reveal a new poetic space.
Ingravid Forest already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
