Métaphores, the most refined French brand, combines the centuries-old know-how of Verel de Belval for silk furnishings and Le Crin for hand-woven horsehair, as well as the mastery of textile materials with an extraordinary sensorial and visual creativity.

Quarry seams and rocky strata are the primary references for this soft, striped bouclette, composed primarily of alpaca wool paired with a linen and viscose warp. Intricately woven, the relief of its disparate horizontal lines can appear rough. At the same time, it is remarkably soft to the touch. A touch of lustre is added by a patterned yarn that shimmers in the light. Each color scheme combines three distinct hues, most of which have stone or earthy overtones; others are reminiscent of animal skins, oxidized metals, and tree bark.
