I bought the Marantz Console Stereo Amplifier for myself 45 years ago, in 1980.

Marantz PM25 is an amplifier that embodies the excellence of Marantz Sound United audio engineering, offering a sound quality that takes your breath away.It has a very high damping factor, making it easily capable of driving even "difficult" speakers (with widely fluctuating
impedance). It also has a phono MM input. In practice, the amp delivers a maximum of 30 watts into 8 ohms.
With inputs for Phono, tuner, tape2/ AUX, tape1 /monitor in and out the Marantz PM25 offers versatile connectivity for various audio sources.
At no point did I ever get the impression that the amp was even close to running out of steam. So, as long as you don't want to fill a lobby or a hall with sound, the power is more than sufficient.
It features a wide frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 kHz. The reproduced sound is extremely faithful to the original, without distortions that could compromise the listening experience.
