Description from the seller

Bastion – Japandi Wabi-Sabi Ceramic Lamp | Sculptural Lighting Art

Description:
Bastion is a one-of-a-kind sculptural ceramic lamp from the Babba Collection, created by NIVO Award-winning Hungarian artist Judit Pöntör. Rooted in wabi-sabi and japandi aesthetics, the piece embraces raw texture, asymmetry, and timeless simplicity.

The hand-built silhouette, reminiscent of fortress architecture, reflects both the monumentality of brutalist form and the quiet presence of Japanese-inspired imperfection. The clay’s tactile surface captures light and shadow in a subtle, organic rhythm, giving the lamp a meditative quality.

Currently on view in a curated contemporary art exhibition until September 20, 2025.
Shipping will be arranged after the closing date.

Perfect for interiors inspired by japandi, Scandinavian, or wabi-sabi design, Bastion functions as both a lighting object and an introspective sculpture.

Certified electrical components, E27 compatible (bulb not included).

Dimensions:
W 23 cm × H 33 cm × D 15 cm
Minimum price: €850
Condition: New, handmade, exhibited
Location: Hungary
