Biography of Ramón Poveda Ibars (Sabadell 1936)

He studied at the Industrial School of Arts and Crafts in Sabadell. In 1974, he made his solo debut in Barcelona and has exhibited in galleries in Vic, Valencia, Palafrugell, La Bisbal, Madrid, and others. His preferred subjects are landscapes and seascapes, as well as popular themes such as dancers and interiors. His favorite technique is oil painting, which he develops on canvas, tablex, or cardboard in small-format works. From 1985 onwards, he regularly exhibited in La Escala, Platja d'Aro, and Tossa de Mar. His works are part of numerous collections across Germany, France, Belgium, and various European countries.
