Labelled M. Platner - 4/4 - - Violin

Up for auction: a nice full size violin. The label says: Michael Platner fecit Romae Anno 1733. Very beautiful in appearance. The strongly flamed two pieces maple back measures 357 mm. The total length of the violin is 591 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 169 mm; middle bouts: 114 mm; lower bouts: 210 mm. High grained spruce top, golden brown varnish. This violin is in a good used condition, with only some small repairs, new ebony set up, old pirastro strings, beautiful model with a very elegant natural amber patina, very high quality of woods. Shipping worldwide insured. Violins and bows described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and are therefore considered to have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin, and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee of any kind.
