Description The ND-390 uses the new and advanced metal tapes, meaning wider dynamic range and the clean reproduction of high frequency transients. Nikko technology has also created a new hard permalloy head, which draws out the best qualities of all tapes. The high maximum magnetic flux density and permeability of this particular alloy assures low noise and low distortion recordings. Maximum performance from the tape you use is assured by the separately-designed bias and equalizer. The unit also incorporates two large VU meters, cue/review and an output level control.
