Delamain - Très Vénérable Decanter - b. 2000s - 70cl
Delamain Tres Venerable de Grande Champagne (Delamain Tres Venerable) is a rich, complex, and aromatic cognac from France.
Tres Venerable (translated as "highly venerable") is the longest-aged cognac category, surpassing Pale & Dry. It is the longest-aged cognac in the entire classic line from the renowned Delamain cognac house. The grape brandy used for this blend has spent at least 50-55 years in barrels.
The initial alcohol content of the drink was 50%, but was brought to the ideal 40% by volume by adding a portion of aged, low-alcohol cognacs (about 15%). The resulting blend was further aged for two years in Limousin oak barrels.
Traditionally recommended as a digestif, ideal with a cigar.
Italian import: Sagna
