Beautiful very rare stylized sitting cat.
Biscuit porcelain. Very particular colour between grey and light blue.
Designed in the 1950s by Jaroslav Ježek, the leading sculptor of the prestigious Royal Dux factory.
His original and unmistakable style is known as "Brussels style".
At the 1958 Expo in Brussels, Jaroslav Ježek received two very prestigious awards: the gold medal for porcelain sculpture and the Grand Prix for the porcelain coffee service. His Brussels style represented Czechoslovak design on a global scale.
Dimensions: 19 x 8 x 4 cm.
