Swiss pocket watch brand Tarix, produced in La Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland), one of the most important historic centers of Swiss watchmaking since the late 19th century and throughout the 20th century. Tarix was a company focused on manufacturing reliable mechanical watches with a classic design, intended for everyday use as well as the gift and collector's market.

The piece features a polished steel case, with a top crown and a loop for a chain. It has a traditional-style white dial with Roman numerals, black hands, and a central seconds hand, maintaining a sober and legible aesthetic characteristic of Swiss watchmaking from the mid-20th century. The dial displays the indication 'Antimagnetic,' reflecting a significant technical improvement of the era, designed to protect the movement against magnetic fields and enhance its accuracy and durability.

Manual winding mechanical movement with anchor and 17 rubies, manufactured according to Swiss quality standards. It is preserved with its original case and brochure with the seal of the Italian watchmaking shop where it was purchased.
