Original title of the author: Nachmittagssonne ( in English: afternoon sun”). This view of a backyard of a Austrian farmstead was executed in 1920 by renowned and good listed Austrian animal and landscape painter Reinhold Kukla ( 1877 Lubljana - 18965 St.Gallen ). He studied at the Vienna Academy by Franz Rumpler, Eduard von Lichtenfels and Christian Griepenkerl. Since 1923 he was a member of Vienna Artist Union "Künstlerhaus",. where he was awarded with Gold Laurel. Our work was exhibited by the artist at exhibition of Viennese Artist Union Künstlerhaus in 1925. Literature: Prof.H.Fuchs "Lexicon of Austrian Artists”, Vienna, 1975. Inscription: signed lower right and dated 1920, on the back are two labels: artist's label with his name and adress and original title in German; the label of Viennese artist Union Kuenslerhaus with inventory number, dated 1925.
