Description from the seller
Photo taken during the filming of the movie Help in 1964, in the countryside outside London. The film is a surreal war story linked to the hippie imagery that opposed the conflict between the USA and Vietnam, and war in general. The film was low-budget, and the actors had neither campers nor chairs nor other comforts. In the photo, we see all four Beatles inside a Bentley.
Limited edition
The photo is digitally printed on Hahnemuhle photo rag ultra smooth 305gsm cotton paper. 4cm mat. Archival inks guaranteed for 150 years. Photograph with the artist's original stamp and signature.
Photos are presented at low resolution in the auction to prevent unauthorized reproductions; however, the photos sent to buyers will be reproduced from high-resolution originals for optimal printing.
Emilio Lari was born in Rome in 1939 and has been a stage photographer from 1960 to the present. In 1960, his passion for photography led him to join Luigi Pratulon's Press Office team (then a stage photographer for Federico Fellini's film 'La Dolce Vita'). He was later sent to London to photograph the new band, the Beatles, at the beginning of their success. A master of photographic lighting, Emilio has worked on over 140 films.
